OVOLO
Where intricate frame detailing meets a classic Shaker
1909 is a beautiful Shaker-style painted kitchen with a timeless quintessentially British feel. This beautiful collection of painted kitchen furniture introduces a classic aesthetic while meeting the demands of twenty-first-century living. That’s why 1909 adapts flexibly to any style of home
SHAKER
An enduring familiar look
This kitchen is designed to work hard, whether for cooking, entertaining, or just enjoying a relaxing drink. Shown here in Storm Blue and Putty this design optimises space perfectly; practical storage, attractive feature cabinetry and an exposed peninsular enhances the openness of the room.
GEORGIAN
A fresh approach to a timeless design
A traditional kitchen sympathetically designed to blend in perfectly with the homes original features. Subtly merging cooking and dining areas, this simplistically stunning space is seamlessly achieved. Georgian is shown here in a combination of Dust Grey and Dove Grey or alternatively Lava and Chalk.
OVOLO
Where intricate frame detailing meets a classic Shaker
The overall aesthetic of this kitchen combines wall panelling, moulded cornice and a herringbone timber floor with a colour scheme of soft and deep greys, inspired by a 19th Century colour palette. Alternatively, three very different natural shades of Truffle, Cashmere and Porcelain work beautifully together to create an endearing, earthy palette.
HALF PENCIL & SCALLOPED
This supremely practical design keeps everything within easy reach
The most detailed of our three door styles blends beautifully into this period home, with the 1909 treatment carried through to the boot room, glimpsed through part-glazed doors. Charcoal, Partidge Grey and Chalk painted doors are all featured.
QUARTER ROUND
Quarter round beading was traditionally used to soften the classic Shaker door
This kitchen shows just how well 1909 adapts to smaller rooms. It’s a compact design in which space has been carefully considered without compromising on looks or practicality. Featured colours are Morris Blue and Parchment White.
SLAB
A contemporary, clean, linear design
On-trend Graphite working areas contrast beautifully with the fun retro Dry Rose island to mix a pared back industrial look with echoes of a vintage interior. Alternatively the lighter, neutral, softer tones of Cadet blue create a traditional look, with a touch of modern glamour.
FINISHING TOUCHES
An enduring familiar look
It’s the little details that can make all the difference. Here are some of the finishing touches you may like to include in your 1909 kitchen.
HANDLES
Made in Britain 1909 handles are solid brass in a choice of chrome or bright nickel finishes. Solid pewter options are also available.
STORAGE
Behind each 1909 door there’s a place for everything, thanks to some very clever storage ideas. Choose from simple cupboards to plentiful pull-outs, pantries, drawers with customised partitions and bookshelves.
WORKTOPS
Creativity doesn’t have to stop with your furniture with a large array of worktop finishes to personalise your kitchen. Choose wood, stone, or a mix of the two, and explore different thicknesses, shapes and edge profiles for that bespoke kitchen look.
