Storage, Appliances and Lighting

As experienced designers, offering fitted kitchens in Essex, we know that kitchen design is not just about how it looks and feels…it’s also about how it works.

If you’re eagerly planning a kitchen remodel for 2017, your pin board is undoubtedly punctured ( literally or virtually) with zesty greenery, texture on textures and accents of electric satin brass.

Planning your space and selecting your kitchen hardware is food for thought, but the key to ensuring your kitchen styling really “pops”, is directly down to the details….

Kitchen Storage Goals

French cuisine is arguably the most notable in the world, but it is German kitchens that make home cooking a dream. And because detail makes the design…check out the hottest 2017 storage trends for your new bespoke kitchens.

Traditional kitchen designs are often based on the work triangle. The rule of the kitchen triangle is simple, drawing imaginary lines between the cooker, the sink and the refrigerator…but this 70 year old rule, gives us little information about where we should hide all the other stuff! Thankfully we find a simple storage solution in 2017, in the shape of the hardworking storage wall.

The storage wall is revolutionising the kitchen, taking away the need for rows of extensive cabinetry and simply pushing al storage onto one hardworking wall. This results in a clean free flowing space throughout the res of the kitchen and a one stop hub, for whatever it is you are searching.

Have you mastered the rule of three?

If you have recently invested in a new fully fitted kitchen, you may already be aware of the rule of three. The rule of three, is a guideline for accessorising…for example, you rarely see four down lighters on a kitchen island…it is usually three. The rule is based on the idea that three looks less contrived than equal numbers and therefore looks more natural! However when it comes to the new lighting trend…three is no longer the magic number.

Extensive cabinet lighting has been creeping in since mid 2016 and it is here to stay for at least the next 12 months. Low voltage tape strips are used to highlight cabinetry, creating the perfect opportunity for low level mood lighting.

Appliances

Hidden kitchen appliances apply to the day to day kettle and toaster, but with these hottest kitchen appliances fro 2017..you are definitely going to want them on display.

Cook up a French treat!

We know you’ve already invested in that best of breed juicer, which is guaranteed to give you the summer body you need….however, did you know that the best equipped kitchens are now turning to crepe makers? Yes, that is right, crepe pans will have you twirling like a pro and enjoying spreads of Nutella and strawberry everyday! Juice anyone….

Steam your way to clean…

Steam cleaners ensure your kitchen is always looking at its’ best, without the back ache and elbow grease! Steam cleaners also reduce health risks by killing up to 99.9% of common germs and bacteria.

The Bacon Master

The Bacon Master is designed to cook your bacon evenly, meaning you don’t have to turn it. Additionally, the appliance also helps reduce the fat…and so you can enjoy a healthier breakfast.

Anything else?

And so the list goes on, choose from taco truck sets, a keyboard waffle iron and bear paws pulled pork shredder claws…
